I had a pretty decent stay at Bluegreen Vacations Club La Pension. The location was fantastic, right on the corner of Canal and Decatur, making it easy to explore the French Quarter. Although the whimsical decor added a fun touch, I found the bed a little cramped for two, and the wifi issues were a letdown. Overall, it was a good experience, but there are definitely areas for improvement.

The room I stayed in was spacious and offered a funky decor that's quintessentially New Orleans. However, the bed was supposed to be a queen but felt small, making it a bit tight for two.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating, which really enhanced my stay. I appreciated their willingness to help, although I did encounter some confusion with service requests that felt a bit too casual.

I had a decent stay at Bluegreen Vacations Club La Pension, primarily due to its fantastic location just a couple of blocks from Bourbon Street and the vibrant atmosphere of New Orleans. The room was spacious and well-equipped, making it comfortable for my needs. However, the lack of housekeeping and some issues with hot water were drawbacks that affected my overall experience. While I enjoyed my time, I might seek a different option on my next trip. 😅🌆

My room was spacious and had a unique New Orleans vibe, with plenty of storage space. Although the decor added character, the absence of housekeeping was a hassle, requiring me to manage cleaning myself.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. Unfortunately, the confusion with services for renters versus timeshare owners made some situations frustrating.

I really enjoyed my stay at Bluegreen Vacations Club La Pension in New Orleans. The location was perfect for exploring the vibrant French Quarter, but man, it was noisy with all the street sounds. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, which made a big difference. Overall, it was a solid experience, though I did have a couple of minor cleanliness issues in my room.

The hotel had nice outdoor sun decks which were great for relaxation. However, I did wish there was on-site parking available instead of relying on valet services.

I had a unique experience at Bluegreen Vacations Club La Pension. The location was perfect for exploring New Orleans, just a short walk to major attractions, though it did get a bit noisy at night. My room was spacious, with fun decor that matched the city’s vibe. However, I did have some issues with service during check-out that put a damper on my departure. Overall, it was a nice stay, and I'd consider visiting again.

Rooms

My room was spacious and well-appointed. I loved the funky decor, and the queen bed was super comfortable. However, the noise from outside could get a bit distracting, especially in the living room area.
Service

While the check-in experience was smooth and some staff were very helpful, I had a frustrating experience with the valet service when I left. They double-parked my car and left my bags in the street, which didn't sit well with me.
Location

The location was just right — walking distance to Bourbon Street and other attractions. It was on Decatur Street, conveniently located near Canal without overwhelming road noise.
Dining

Having kitchenette facilities was great! I appreciated being able to cook some of my own meals, especially since eating out can get pricey in nearby restaurants.
Facilities

The hotel offered nice touchpoints, like coffee in the morning and infused water in the afternoon. However, I wish there were easier access points for things like ice, which had to be requested.
